Non-western European languages, fonts and character sets

Legacy only supports Western European fonts (English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, and the Scandinavian languages). The program does not support Eastern European fonts, like Polish, Asian fonts, Hebrew, or any other non-Western European fonts. This situation may change in a future version of Legacy. In the meantime, here is a work-around some of our users are doing. (This may not work perfectly, for example the Legacy interface is still in English, or whatever language Legacy is set for) but for a lot of people that's not an issue. They just want to use the correct fonts.

1. Open the Control Panel and click to open Region and Language.
2. Click the Administrative tab, and then, under Language for non-Unicode programs, click Change system locale. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. Select the language, and then click OK.
4. To restart your computer, click Restart now.
