Resizing a window will make a difference as to how many icons (tool buttons) can be displayed on a Legacy screen or window. A very small window can display only a few icons; a full-size window will display all. Try resizing the window larger if you are not seeing all the buttons.

If you are missing toolbar buttons, like the Reports button (icon), in your Legacy program, you can manually add these (and others). You can also rearrange the order of the buttons and remove those you don't want or reset the toolbar button to the defaults.

1. Right-click anywhere on the Main Toolbar in Legacy. This will open the Customize Main Toolbar screen, which has two parts:

• Main Toolbar at the top of the screen
• Available Toolbar Buttons at the bottom of the screen

2. Click the Reset Default button at the bottom right of the screen and the click OK. This should restore the missing Reports button (icon).

3. If the above steps don't work, using Windows Explorer, navigate to the Legacy folder on your hard drive and delete the Legacy2.usr file. This file will be restored when you go back into Legacy and should restore the missing buttons.

To add a new button:

1. By left-clicking and holding down the mouse button you can drag a button from the Available Toolbar Buttons up to the Main Toolbar in the screen and release the mouse button.

As you drag a tool over the toolbar, a vertical line will appear to indicate where the tool will be inserted.  Any tools to the right will move over to make room.
Note: There is room for up to 40 tools on the bar.  If it is full, any insertion of another tool will cause the existing tool at the right end to be removed.  If the Customize Main Toolbar window is narrower than your Legacy screen, you can stretch it wider to match, thus giving you more room to display tools.  Your Legacy program window width and your screen resolution setting determine the total number of tools that can be seen on the main toolbar.

To move a tool from one position to another, drag the tool from its current position to the new position within the top Main Toolbar.  The other tools will be moved to make room and fill the space.
To put all the standard tools back on the toolbar in the default order, click the Reset Default button.

2. When finished click OK.
