Runtime Error ‘380’ Invalid Property Value in the To-Do List:

1. When you get runtime error 380 in the To-Do List, with Legacy closed please delete the ToDo.usr and ToDoRpt.usr files, if any.

LEGACY: Open your Documents folder and browse into Legacy Family Tree\ _AppData\Usr and delete the ToDo.usr and ToDoRpt.usr files, if any. There is no family data in any of these files, so deleting them does not delete your data. Upon start up, Legacy will recreate the files to their default settings.

LEGACY 7.5 OR EARLIER: Browse into C:\Legacy folder on your hard drive and delete the ToDo.usr and ToDoRpt.usr files, if any. There is no family data in any of these files, so deleting them does not delete your data. Upon start up, Legacy will recreate the files to their default settings.

2. Next browse into the folder where your family file is located and delete the files, if any, that end with .TC, .TC0-9  or .TCH, etc.

LEGACY: Open your Documents folder and browse into Legacy Family Tree\Data and delete the files, if any, that end with .TC, .TC0-9  or .TCH, etc.

LEGACY 7.5 OR EARLIER: C:\Legacy\Data and delete the files, if any, that end with .TC, .TC0-9  or .TCH, etc.

3. Next, please update your Legacy file. The update process will repair error 380. Please Note: The download progress indicator may appear to 'stall'. This is normal. Legacy is downloading. Please do not cancel the download as this causes the runtime error 380 which can only be fixed by completing this download.

LEGACY: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/DownloadUpdate.asp

LEGACY 7.5 OR EARLIER: http://support.legacyfamilytree.com/article/AA-00899 and download the final revision (build) of your version.

4. When Legacy starts up, please click on File > File Maintenance > Check/Repair and proceed with the repair. If any error messages occur during the Check/Repair process, click No in the error message box so that the repair steps can finish.  Do Check/Repair twice if errors are found.
