Run-time error 365 is very rare. Before you do anything else, backup or copy your family file to a safe place:

1. Do a thorough scan of you computer for viruses as well as spyware.
2. Clean up the temporary files on your hard drive (Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup).
3. Defragment your hard drive (Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter).
4. Consider a System Restore to an earlier Restore Point. (Please consult the Windows help system for instructions on doing a Restore Point to an earlier time.)
5. Reboot your computer in Safe Mode and re-install Legacy with all of your Internet security software temporarily disabled. (Please consult the Windows help system for how to start your computer in Safe Mode.)
6. Uninstall Legacy using the following steps:

LEGACY:
Browse to C-Drive>Program Files(X86)>Legacy and in the Legacy folder you should see the RemoveLegacy.exe.  Please right click this application and choose run as administrator.  This will remove the Legacy program from your computer (this will not delete your data or media).  Make sure when it shows your Legacy customer number that you write it down.

LEGACY 7.5 OR EARLIER: C:\Legacy
Do not delete the LEGACY.USR file and files that end with .LIC. In addition, do not delete any subfolders such as Data, Docs, Geo, Pictures, Sounds, Videos.

7. Your computer will now be ready for a fresh re-installation of Legacy.
8. Re-install Legacy:

LEGACY: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/DownloadLegacy.asp

LEGACY 7.5 OR EARLIER: http://support.legacyfamilytree.com/article/AA-00899 and download the final release (build) of your version. You may also wish to read "How to Install Legacy 7.5 or earlier on a Windows 8, Windows 7 or Windows Vista computer" at http://support.legacyfamilytree.com/article/AA-00897.

NOTE: If you are using Webroot for your antivirus protection, open Webroot and go to Identity Protection settings (the gear icon). There is a tab there for Application Protection. Choose this tab and you will see many of your programs listed. The options are "Protect", "Allow" and "Deny". Change Legacy from Deny to Allow.
