"I made a backup file but don't know where it was saved."

To find the backup file you made, return to the "Customize Backup" screen, which will show you where the file is stored. Look at the "Currently:" lines under the Data Backup and Media Backup buttons and make note of the location. This is where you will find you most recent backup files.

If you cannot locate your backup file using the above method, use the Search feature in Windows to find your backup file using a wildcard search.

1. First close Legacy.
2. Next, click on the round start button in the lower left corner of your Desktop screen.
3. In the "Search programs and files" field (right above the round start button) type *.ZIP and press Enter on your keyboard.
4. When Windows is finished searching, find your Backup file in the list and make note of the location.
5. If no items match your search, click on "See more results" and select Computer.
6. When Windows finds your lost backup file, make note of its location.
