Legacy Setup Was Not Completed Properly

When you see the message: “Legacy setup was not completed properly. To fix this problem you should download and install the latest version available from our web site." - If you can close the message and use Legacy successfully, there is no need re-download or re-install. Usually the message will not repeat after you reboot your computer.
- If you cannot use the program after closing the message; then download the most recent build, Legacy Family Tree from http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/DownloadLegacy.asp.
- If you have the Deluxe Edition, download the free Standard Edition and unlock the Deluxe features at the prompt.
- If you have an earlier version of Legacy go to http://support.legacyfamilytree.com/article/AA-00899 and download the final release (build). You may also wish to read "How to Install Legacy 7.5 or earlier on a Windows 8, Windows 7 or Windows Vista computer" at http://support.legacyfamilytree.com/article/AA-00897.
Use your customer number to unlock the deluxe features, if needed.
